Josh Greene was named vice president, global government affairs and sustainability on July 1, 2026. He served as vice president of government, regulatory, and industry affairs in from February 2016 to July 2026.
In this expanded role, Josh leads a broad global function supporting business priorities across North America, Europe, India and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region designed to strengthen coordination across regions while ensuring the company's government affairs and sustainability efforts continue to support business objectives and future growth.
He continues to be responsible for advancing the company’s business goals and objectives in front of international, federal, and state policy makers and regulatory bodies, as well as representing the company within its industry associations. He also works with the company’s corporate development, sustainability, and innovation teams in facilitating new business opportunities and industry relationships. Josh maintains very broad relationships within the environmental, municipal, and business communities.
Josh joined the company in 2016 after 14 years with Squire Patton Boggs LLP of Washington, D.C, where he was partner. He provided regulatory, policy, and business advice to private and public companies in the energy and environmental industrial sector with a particular concentration on renewable and alternative energy development, energy efficiency, technology, sustainability, project finance and corporate compliance.
Earlier in his career, Josh served as legislative assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives and as a law clerk to the General Counsel of the Maryland Commission on Human Relations.
Josh earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Delaware and Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
