Mark D. Smith

Mark Smith joined the A. O. Smith Board of Directors in 2001 and serves as a member of the Nominating & Governance Committee and the Personnel & Compensation Committee.

Mr. Smith was a product business manager for Strattec Security Corporation from 1997 until his retirement in 2019. Strattec Security Corporation designs, develops, manufactures and markets automotive access control products, including mechanical locks and keys, electronically enhanced locks and keys, steering column and instrument panel ignition lock housings, latches and related access control products for major automotive manufacturers.

Mr. Smith is one of three trustees of the Smith Family Voting Trust.
